11:08 am - Am I allowed to post arts?

Because I have here the boys for you.
MoonyCollapse )
PadsCollapse )

I think it's pretty obvious I got lazy with Pads after a while; I drew them both on paper in pencil and coloured them in Photoshop. Pads got a leash, I don't know why. Also, he has black spots on his tongue. Look at it closely.

5:14 pm - New Challenges!

This week they will actually go into the comm info, I swear.

Frank Longbottom, Bellatrix Black and Ermine Parkinson, as well as three prefects all disappeared during this part. What happened to them before they reappeared?

A drabble from the POV of the students currently attending the feast.

This weeks winners were Hufflepuff, with 30 points. =)

Title: “De-Nial is a River in Egypt”
House: Hufflepuff
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Lily, mentions Dumbledore and James
Author's Notes: Ha, finally managed to write 100 words, I never realized how challenging this was.

Albus Dumbledore is the greatest wizard alive.
That is not Albus Dumbledore because he wouldn’t look as though he was trying to redeem James. James must have bribed him. Yes, that’s it.
And if James doesn’t stop looking at her as if he’s expecting her to apologize…
She won’t.
Not even if he ruffles his hair in that James Potter way that Lily knows is insecurity not confidence or if he goes to any lengths to speak with her or if he really is…
No apologizing.
Boys are simple, Lily knows this, so why was James Potter so confusing?

1:45 am - Stupid

Title: Stupid
House: Slytherin
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Lily/James
Author's Notes: This took me forever to get down to 100 words as it started out at 201. I swore I’d never write fanfiction for a fanfiction. But shoebox isn’t just fanfiction. I stand by that excuse. I do like how this turned out, though.

Title: Failed Pranks
House: Gryffindor
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Gideon and Fabian Prewett
Author's Notes: Some notes passed in lesons.

Faysie, can you please copy these into the Book, so we know not to do them again?

1. The semi-apparating as a ghost issue. Stupid. Big ring round that.

2. Dressing up a cat in Flitwick’s robes in order to scare Binns – you still owe me for the scars, Fay.

3. Slaves. Let’s face it – we’re not quite Godlike enough yet to command mindless loyalty. It’s a good idea, though – maybe later.

4. The Thing We Don’t Mention involving the bucket of hinkypunks, the giant squid and Goldielocks’ underpants.
Only don’t put that in the book, cos it Never Happened.

11:35 pm - Next Time

Title: Next Time
House: Ravenclaw
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Gideon and Fabian Prewett
Author's Notes: First drabble and first piece of HP fanfiction. ^__^ Any comments and criticism would be greatly appreciated!

It was a brilliant idea. Splendid, really. And, as brilliant ideas go, it was completely impossible.

Not that impossibility ever bothered Gid'n'Fay, of course. They were, after all, Gideon and Fabian Prewett.

You would have to admit, though, that the dungbombs weren't supposed to go off until they'd left the Slytherin common room. And that fuchsia wasn't very becoming sprouting out of Fabian's head (it would much better suit Gideon, not that he'd ever admit it). And that the pranker(s) shouldn’t be found at the feet of the prankee sporting nothing but heart-patterned underwear.

Ah well, there’s always next time.

2:51 pm - musings

Title: Musings
House: Hufflepuff
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Lily, James
Author's Notes: My first-ever drabble! Any comments would be very much appreciated. :)

Lily Evans is distinctly discombobulated. Her traitorous body ignores her brain's frantic commands to regain self-possession as she gapes at the Head Boy.

James Potter, save Snape's life? The very idea is absurd! Perhaps, she muses, there's more to him than she's given him credit for...

But no, these thoughts can only lead to more (perfectly natural) thoughts which she does NOT need. As he babbles incoherently over some strange men, she decides that particular type of thought with regards to James is best avoided, especially with Kingsley's shiny-headed solidarity awaiting her in the common room.

For now, anyway.

12:16 pm - Challenge; Week 1 winners

Last weeks winners were Gryffindor with 115 points! Congratulations to you.

This weeks challenges are:

Lily's reaction to James saving Snape's life/What does she think happened?
We have two new characters - Gid and Fay. What sort of pranks (that aren't mentioned in the chapter) do you think they played? Write a drabble based around one.

Title: Babble
House: Gryffindor
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Sirius
Author's Notes: This is a bit odd, but I was trying to write fairly spontaneously.

Remus walked in, and Sirius panicked. He didn't know why.

But underneath his thoughts foamed, working it out:

he can't see me I want him to look so he mustn't he should go before I but I want him to stay always nearer so still so sharp, not like me I'm loud his hands touching my and his hair's gone frizzy I … Sophie lush plushy but the thin chest needs holding I think not her but I can't it's moony moony moony why here in the room? Never leave the room come closer comecloser no.

2:17 am - Fall

Title: Fall
House: Slytherin.
Word Count: 100 exactly!
Characters/Pairings: Remus and Sirius, of course.
Author's Notes: Again, I tried. Don’t beat me with a stick (har, har).

Sirius inches closer to the door, still clutching the curtain. He sees Remus flattened against the wall opposite him and a little shiver goes through his body. He’s nearly naked in the same room as Remus. Naked. Bad Sirius, bad!

After what seems an eternity of shuffling toward the door, he finally reaches in and turns the knob. The door creaks open and Remus bolts out, saying, “Thanks! Have a good shower! You should maybe lock the door next time! Your duck is slipping!”

Sirius closes the door behind Remus and drops the curtain, feeling his shoulders and face fall.

9:21 pm - A Quiet Afternoon;

Title: A Quiet Afternoon
House: Ravenclaw
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Mr. Potter, and the other characters
Author's Notes: This took forever to get down to 100 words. I got it though! :D

The boys are spread out, it seems. Mr. Potter can hear Remus pacing upstairs, and Peter falling off the bed with a ‘thump’ for the second time that day. He can’t hear James, but he’s sure he’s nearby. Mrs. Potter sits beside him, both of them sipping their tea with the occasional comment on the latest news.

A quiet afternoon.

Then, outside, someone sounding suspiciously like Sirius swears loudly, and a crash follows as if the dustbins toppled over.

“It sounds like Sirius and Sophie are having a nice time,” Mr. Potter says pleasantly, taking another sip of his tea.

10:47 pm - Smooth

Title: Smooth
House: Hufflepuff
Word Count: 105, not counting hyphens, because I don't care what MS word says. "-" < this is not a word!
Characters/Pairings: Sirius. And Remus. Remus/Sirius.
Author's Notes: This is for the shower scene challenge - there is a longer, and in my opinion better, version posted on my journal. I have discovered that 100 words is very difficult.

- - - - -

Sirius tries to will a pair of pants into existence, but there are no pants - only a conveniently placed duck.

Remus is frozen. Sirius would like to pounce and perform indecent acts - without the interfering duck - except he wouldn't, because Sirius likes girls. So, he should act casual - be smooth.

Except his mouth is dry, heart pounding, and as he edges towards the door he hopes that he doesn't brush against Remus because if he does it would be very bad - nothing would be able to salvage his dignity.

Sirius opens the door, and Remus escapes to safety - no duck, no feelings, no Sirius.

These three are all connected. This is my first time writing for the Harry Potter fandom and I never thought I would but shoebox convinced me that I should.

4:10 pm - Part One entry.

Title: I Was A Teenage Werewolf
House: Gryffindor
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Remus
Author's Notes: This takes place at exactly the same time as Sirius' little slip-up and is not a free-flowing unrelated angst-fest at all. Nope.

I Was A Teenage Werewolf

Remus stays in the library as much as possible, nowhere near the hot people in the garden.

He isn't calm at the moment and that scares him. He needs to be in control at all times and this - crap is making him forget things. Like "What is the date today?"

Since the railway station and the Perfectly Natural business, he's become dangerously distracted. He needs to be always pure inside; thoughtful, friendly and polite. He's not a normal boy, after all. He's not even really a person. He's a wild animal someone taught to read.

He should keep reading.

4:39 pm - The Challenges

Okay, so some people might be confused about the fact that there are two challenges currently.

We are now running with two challenges a week, with 6 drabbles allowed per challenge.

The challenges for this week are as follows:
Describe a scene soon after Episode Fourteen in 100 words. and
We only got Remus's point of view of the bathroom incident in Part 14. Write what's going through Sirius's mind.

With the word count/points:

We will not be strict about the word count, but anything longer than 150 words should be placed behind a cut. The main aim of the 100 communities is to write 100 words. I know this might be a challenge (I know I myself have found it a challenge sometimes), so there is now 5 points awarded to your house of choice if you write a drabble between 90 - 110 words and you still get the full 10 points if you write 100 words.

I hope that clears up most questions/problems. Please bear with us, though, as we are still meddling around and setting it up proerply. There should be no more dramas after this week though.

Title: Stunning
House: Ravenclaw
Word Count: 100 (i rock)
Characters/Pairings: Sophie
Author's Notes: I guess this is pg-13, but only if you speak French. And yes, this should be completely en francais, since it is Sophie's thoughts, but it's not. artistic license, dammit.

It is tres important, that we look absolutely stunning right now. Of course, we always look good, but at times like these, we must look stunning. And we do.

We have on our black dress, the Audrey Hepburn dress. And the large, black Audrey Hepburn hat. Not the sunglasses, though, they make us look unapproachable. And we absolutely need to be approached. By gorgeous men. Straight men. Do they even exist in Paris anymore? Hell, you can't even find one in Devonshire. But we are thinking of our Siri again. And, like our Siri, we let words slip thoughtlessly.
